09:58 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Vault Holdings ( NRGV ) and Turkey-based Astor Enerji have formed an alliance to improve supply chains for battery energy storage systems and accelerate large-scale grid projects across multiple markets, the companies said Wednesday.

Financial details of the alliance were not disclosed.

Energy Vault ( NRGV ) will supply its B-VAULT battery energy storage systems for four of Astor Enerji's grid-connected photovoltaic projects in Romania, delivering a combined storage capacity of up to 2 gigawatt-hours, the companies said.

In return, Astor Enerji will supply transformers and other high-voltage equipment for more than 1 gigawatt of Energy Vault's ( NRGV ) BESS projects in the US, Australia, and Europe, the companies said.

Shares of Energy Vault ( NRGV ) were down more than 1% in recent Wednesday trading.
