10:11 AM EDT, 06/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy Vault Holdings ( NRGV ) said Wednesday that it signed an agreement to supply an additional battery energy storage system to a Jupiter Power site in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas or ERCOT region.

The company said the deal follows the completion of its initial 100 megawatt/220 megawatt-hours battery energy storage system for Jupiter Power in July 2024 and the new system is expected to add a capacity of 100 MW/200 MWh to the ERCOT grid.

Construction of the project is ongoing, with commercial operations targeted by the end of summer, said Energy Vault ( NRGV ).

Financial details were not disclosed.
