Engine Capital Calls on Dye & Durham to Hold Special Meeting of Shareholders Immediately
Sep 22, 2024 4:24 AM

08:05 AM EDT, 09/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Engine Capital, which has a 7.1% stake in Dye & Durham ( DYNDF ) , on Thursday issued a letter to the company's board calling for the prompt scheduling of the special meeting of shareholders.

"It is incumbent upon the company's independent directors - Chair Colleen Moorehead, Brian Derksen, Ted Prittie, Peter Brimm, and Ronnie Wahi - to not permit any further delays or tactical entrenchment maneuvers," said Engine Capital Managing Partner Arnaud Ajdler.

In a separate letter that was released last week, Engine Capital noted the departure of senior executives from Dye & Durham ( DYNDF ) and also questioned the board's acquisition strategy.

"Shareholders deserve a Board and management team that are patient, disciplined, rational - and receptive to their feedback," Engine Capital said.
