09:49 AM EDT, 07/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eni (E) said Friday it signed an agreement with UAE-based Khazna Data Centers to form a joint venture to develop a 500-megawatt AI data center campus in Ferrera Erbognone, Lombardy.

The project is part of a wider partnership between Italy and UAE aimed at installing up to 1 gigawatt of IT capacity in Italy.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
