Eni Q3 Earnings Increase, Sales Decline; Share Buyback Expanded

05:08 AM EDT, 10/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Eni (E) reported Q3 earnings Friday of 0.24 euros ($0.28) per diluted share, up from 0.16 euros a year earlier.

Two analysts polled by FactSet expected 0.33 euros.

Sales from operations for the quarter ended Sept. 30 were 20.20 billion euros, down from $20.66 billion a year earlier.

Four analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 18.84 billion euros.

The company also said it has increased its 2025 share buyback authorization to 1.8 billion euros, up by 300 million euros.

Shares of the company were up 1% in recent premarket activity.
