03:10 PM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Eni (E) said Thursday it has received approval from the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero for the construction and operations of the HyNet North West CO2 pipeline.

The pipeline will transport carbon dioxide from carbon capture plants across the North West of England and North Wales to permanent storage in Eni's depleted natural gas reservoirs, the company said.
