03:21 AM EDT, 08/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Enlight Renewable Energy ( ENLT ) said Sunday it has begun commercial operations at the 60-megawatt, $48 million Tapolca solar power project in Hungary.

Enlight said the project began sales of electricity on July 31. The plant, which Enlight said is its fifth project in Hungary, brings the firm's total power generation capacity in the country to 144 megawatts.
