Enlight Renewable Energy Wins $1.1 Billion Tender to Develop Data Center, Renewable Energy Complex in Israel

07:41 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Enlight Renewable Energy ( ENLT ) said Friday that it won an Israel Land Authority tender to develop an integrated data center and renewable energy complex on a 50-acre site in Ashalim, southern Israel.

The company said it plans to invest up to $1.1 billion in the project, which includes a solar generation and energy storage system to meet part of the data center's electricity demand and reduce operating costs.
