09:24 AM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Enovix ( ENVX ) said Monday it has launched its AI-1 silicon-anode smartphone battery platform that has energy density of over 900 watt-hours per liter.

The company said the energy density provided by the AI-1 allows smartphone makers to take advantage of artificial intelligence-enabled application without the need for frequent charging cycles.

The AI-1 is available to some smartphone original equipment manufacturers and is expected to be more available widely later this year, the company said.

Enovix ( ENVX ) shares were up 7.8% in recent premarket activity.
