08:07 AM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Enstar Group ( ESGR ) reported Q2 earnings Monday of $8.49 per diluted share, up from $1.34 a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $236 million, compared with $154 million a year earlier.

No analysts' estimates were available for comparison.

The company also said Monday that President Orla Gregory will step down on Dec. 31 and focus until then on the proposed merger that will take Enstar ( ESGR ) private.

Enstar ( ESGR ) shares were down more than 7% in recent premarket activity.
