Oct 29 (Reuters) - Pipeline operator Enterprise Products
Partners ( EPD ) said on Tuesday the second phase of its Texas
Western Products (TW) System was now complete with truck loading
operations beginning at company's fuel terminal located in Utah.
The Utah facility, featuring a storage capacity of 400,000
barrels for gasoline and diesel, is strategically located to
serve markets in both eastern Utah and western Colorado.
It joins three other facilities that began service earlier
in 2024, which are located in Gaines County, Texas and the Jal
and Albuquerque areas in New Mexico.
Enterprise is converting segments of its natural gas liquids
pipeline systems to transport gasoline and diesel, with an aim
to lower fuel prices in these areas.
"We believe the TW Products system will increase in
importance to this region given the recently announced and
potential future refinery closures in the state of California,"
CEO AJ Teague said in a statement on Tuesday.
