May 29 (Reuters) - Pipeline operator Enterprise Products

Partners ( EPD ) said on Thursday it would need to obtain a

license from the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security for

exports to China, according to a company filing with the

securities regulator.

The company will need to apply for a license from BIS for

exporting ethane or butane if a party related to the transaction

is located in China, the filing said.

Enterprise Products ( EPD ) added that it is not sure if it will be

able to successfully obtain any required BIS license in a timely

manner, or at all, for ethane and butane exports.
