02:13 PM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Enterprise Products Partners ( EPD ) said Tuesday the US Maritime Administration granted it a deepwater port license for the Sea Port Oil Terminal.

The license allows Enterprise to advance to the next stage of developing the offshore terminal with a capacity to load 2 million barrels per day of crude oil.

Maritime Administration is part of US Department of Transportation.

The company's shares were down 1% in recent trading.
