08:37 AM EDT, 06/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- EON Resources ( EONR ) said Friday its EON Energy subsidiary has entered into a June 1 purchase and sale agreement to acquire all of WPP NM and Northwest Central's interests in the South Justis Field in the Permian Basin of Lea County, New Mexico, for a total payment of 1.0 million shares.

Under the terms of the deal, EON Energy said it will acquire a 94% working interest in the South Justis Field, with an estimated annual cash flow of $1.2 million and production of 108 barrels per day.

The transaction, to close Friday, is expected to be accretive, the company said.

The acquired property includes 5,360 leasehold acres with a total of 208 wells, 19 of them active and producing oil, the company said.
