Epic Games proposes Google app store reforms after antitrust win
Apr 12, 2024 12:22 AM

April 11 (Reuters) - "Fortnite" video game maker Epic

Games on Thursday asked a U.S. judge in California to force

Google to make some changes to its Play Store.

The request came after a trial last year where the Alphabet

unit was accused of abusing its power as a gatekeeper for apps

on the Android mobile platform.

Epic made its proposal in a filing to U.S. District Judge

James Donato in San Francisco, who presided over the blockbuster

antitrust trial that ended in a jury verdict in December against

Google.
