04:56 PM EDT, 08/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Epsilon Energy ( EPSN ) reported Q2 earnings late Wednesday of $0.07 per diluted share, up from $0.04 a year earlier.
Revenue in the three months ended June 30 rose to $11.6 million from $7.3 million a year earlier.
A lone analyst polled by FactSet expected $11.8 million.
The company also agreed to acquire 40,500 net oil and gas acres in the Powder River Basin in Wyoming from two exploration and production entities majority owned by Yorktown Energy Partners funds for $86.3 million in stock and debt.
The deal, expected to close in Q4, includes a contingent consideration of up to 2.5 million Epsilon common shares, subject to access to acreage currently affected by a drilling permit moratorium in Converse County, Wyoming.
