01:58 PM EDT, 07/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- EQT (EQT) intends to be the supplier of natural gas to the Shippingport Power Station in Pennsylvania, Frontier Group of Companies said Tuesday.

Frontier Group said it is transforming the decommissioned Bruce Mansfield coal power plant into the Shippingport Power Station as part of the development of the Shippingport Industrial Park.

The Shippingport Power Station is expected to use about 800 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, Frontier Group added.
