Equifax Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Issues Guidance

04:37 PM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Equifax ( EFX ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings late Wednesday of $1.82 per diluted share, up from $1.71 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.73.

Revenue in the quarter ended June 30 rose to $1.43 billion from $1.32 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.43 billion.

The company expects Q3 adjusted earnings of $1.75 to $1.85 per share on revenue of $1.43 billion to $1.45 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $2.01 on revenue of $1.46 billion.

The company expects 2024 adjusted earnings of $7.22 to $7.47 per share on revenue of $5.69 billion to $ 5.75 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect EPS of $7.38 on revenue of $5.72 billion.

Shares of the company were over 1% lower in after-hours activity.
