09:46 AM EST, 11/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Equinix ( EQIX ) said Monday it has issued an additional 1.15 billion euros ($1.21 billion) in green bonds.

The company said it issued 650 million euros of 3.25% senior green bonds due 2031 and 500 million euros of 3.625% senior green bonds due 2034.

The latest bonds followed the over $750 million in green bonds that Equinix ( EQIX ) issued in September and brought the company's total green bond issuances to about $6.9 billion, the company said.

The company said it will use the green bonds to support its sustainability projects and improve the operational efficiency of its business.
