Equinor ASA Increases Orsted Stake to 10%

07:07 AM EST, 12/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Equinor ASA ( EQNR ) said Monday it has increased its stake in Orsted by 0.2% to 10% after receiving regulatory approvals.

The volume-weighted average price for the 10% stake was 398.5 Danish krone ($55.5) per share, amounting to a total consideration of $2.3 billion, the company said

Earlier in October, Equinor ( EQNR ) acquired 9.8% stake in Orsted, becoming the second largest investor after the Danish State.
