09:58 AM EDT, 08/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Equinor ( EQNR ) has signed a one-year deal to supply Orlen with more than 6 million tonnes of crude oil from the Johan Sverdrup field on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, with deliveries to begin in September, Orlen said Friday.

Orlen, a Polish multinational oil refiner, said the contracted volume will cover about 15% of its annual oil demand.

Shipments will be sent from the Norwegian port of Mongstad to Orlen's refineries in Poland, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic, the company said.
