06:01 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Equinox Gold ( EQX ) and Orla Mining (ORLA) have completed their merger, with Equinox Gold ( EQX ) as the surviving entity, the companies said Friday.

Following the business combination, Equinox Gold ( EQX ) plans to delist Orla Mining's shares from the Toronto Stock Exchange and the NYSE American, they said.

In addition, Darren Hall will retire as chief executive officer of Equinox Gold ( EQX ), effective Oct. 31, and will be succeeded by Jason Simpson, according to the statement.

Chuck Jeannes has been appointed as Chairman of Equinox Gold ( EQX ), succeeding Ross Beaty, the companies added.
