Equinox Gold Names Darren Hall as Chief Executive

06:31 AM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Equinox Gold ( EQX ) said Tuesday it has appointed President and Chief Operating Officer Darren Hall as chief executive, effective immediately, replacing Greg Smith, who has stepped down.

The company also named David Schummer, formerly executive vice president of operations, as COO.
