05:40 AM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Equity LifeStyle Properties ( ELS ) said late Monday it believes it has adequate insurance coverage to compensate for the damage and disruption caused by Hurricane Milton.

The company said it currently assesses that the hurricane will not "significantly impact our results of operations or our financial condition on a consolidated basis."

Some of its Florida properties were affected by flooding, wind and tree damage as a result of Hurricane Milton but structural damage to common areas "appears to be limited," Equity LifeStyle said.
