Equity long/short hedge funds down 1.7% amid sell-off

NEW YORK, April 3 (Reuters) - Global equity long/short

hedge funds on Thursday were down 1.7% on the day amid a

sell-off triggered by the Trump administration's new trade

tariffs announced on April 2, Goldman Sachs said in a note.

Those funds are now down 1.6% in the year, the bank added.
