Eric Sprott Increases Stake in Erdene Resource Development by 2.8%

11:18 AM EDT, 08/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mining financier Eric Sprott, the founder of Sprott (SII.TO), on Friday said he purchased 10.8-million shares of Erdene Resource Development ( ERDCF ) , about 2.9% of the outstanding shares on non-diluted basis, at $0.90 per share for about $9.7 million, through 2176423 Ontario, a corporation which is beneficially owned by him.

Sprott now beneficially owns 83.7-million shares representing about 22.9% of the outstanding shares on a non-diluted basis. The acquisition resulted in an increase in holdings, on a partially diluted basis, of about 2.8% since the date of the last filing of an early warning report.

Shares of Erdene were last seen down about $0.02 to $1.02 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
