04:53 AM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ericsson (ERIC) said Monday that the work and term of the independent compliance monitor appointed by the US Department of Justice in connection with the 2019 Deferred Prosecution Agreement has concluded.

The agreement is related to historical violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and on March 28, the appointed monitor certified to the DOJ that Ericsson's anti-corruption compliance program has satisfied the requirements and is functioning effectively, the company said.
