Ericsson, SAP to Collaborate to Explore Generative AI Use Cases

10:14 AM EDT, 09/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ericsson (ERIC) unit Vonage said Tuesday it is teaming up with software company SAP to integrate its application programming interfaces, or APIs, with SAP's Business AI to explore generative artificial intelligence use cases.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company said the collaboration will use Vonage's Communication Platform as a Service and SAP Business AI to explore generative AI and immersive services. Vonage will provide SAP access to its APIs for real-time quality management, device location, and number verification, it added.

The partnership is expected to support businesses with advanced tools for better customer engagement and operational efficiency, Vonage said.
