10:50 AM EST, 11/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Ermenegildo Zegna ( ZGN ) said Tuesday its controlling shareholder, Monterubello, has acquired 913,000 shares of the luxury company as of Monday.

Monterubello plans to purchase 2 million additional Ermenegildo shares in the market in the coming weeks, the company said.

Ermenegildo shares were up nearly 2.5% in recent Tuesday trading.
