10:42 AM EDT, 03/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ESGold ( ESAUF ) on Friday announced the appointment of Jason Tong as chief financial officer, effective immediately.

The company said that Tong brings more than 15 years of experience working with publicly listed companies across the TSX, TSXV, and Nasdaq exchanges, serving in senior financial leadership and advisory roles across the mining, finance, and venture capital sectors.

The company also said that Tong previously served as CFO of Pathway Capital Ltd and added that earlier in his career, he worked as a senior auditor with Deloitte & Touche LLP.

"Jason joins ESGold ( ESAUF ) at a pivotal stage in the Company's evolution," said Gordon Robb, Chief Executive Officer of ESGold ( ESAUF ). "As we move from development toward production at Montauban, strengthening the financial leadership and corporate infrastructure of the Company is a critical priority. In a statement the company also announced that Tony Giuliano is no longer with the company.

Shares of the company were last seen down $0.01 at $0.59 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
