07:56 AM EDT, 04/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Essential Utilities ( WTRG ) said Thursday that it plans to invest more than $1.4 billion this year to handle infrastructure challenges across its nine-state footprint, such as modernizing water and natural gas infrastructure.

The company said it also aims to invest a projected $7.8 billion through 2029.
