04:36 PM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Estee Lauder ( EL ) said late Monday it is in talks regarding a potential merger with Puig, a Spanish beauty and fashion group.

No final decision has been made, and no agreement has been reached, the company said.

Earlier, the Financial Times reported Estee Lauder ( EL ) is nearing a deal to combine with Puig to create a company worth over $40 billion.
