Oct 22 (Reuters) - The European Union will provide some
157 million euros ($170 million) for a carbon capture project in
Germany operated by industrial gas firm Linde ( LIN ) and
Mexican cement maker Cemex, the latter said on
Tuesday.
"This funding will go towards a pioneering CO2 capture
project at Cemex's cement plant in Rudersdorf, Germany," the
company said in a statement.
