BRUSSELS, Jan 16 (Reuters) - The European Commission has

no intention of suspending any social media platform, an EU

spokesperson said on Thursday, adding there were other

mechanisms in place if some of them do not comply with the

rules.

"We want our citizens to be able to use all social media,

providing of course they abide by the rules," the spokesperson

told reporters.
