BRUSSELS, Sept 12 (Reuters) - The European Commission

said on Friday it had accepted commitments offered by Microsoft ( MSFT )

to address competition concerns related to its Teams

platform.

EU regulators had preliminarily found during an

investigation opened in 2023 that Microsoft ( MSFT ) had granted Teams an

undue competitive advantage and restricted competition in the

cloud-based communication and collaboration products due to

bundling its productivity applications.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) unbundled Teams from Office in 2023.
