Sept 10 (Reuters) - The European Union will lower

proposed tariffs on Tesla and other electric vehicles

(EVs) from China, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday, citing

people familiar with the matter.

Tesla's proposed tariff rate is said to drop to just below

8% from 9%, the report said.
