EU trade commissioner welcomes China's Nexperia chip export exemptions

Nov 8 (Reuters) - European Union Trade Commissioner

Maros Sefcovic said on Saturday that he welcomed China's

decision to grant exemptions to any exporter from licensing

requirements for Nexperia chips intended for civilian use.

He added that close diplomatic engagement with both the

Chinese and Dutch authorities remained ongoing.
