09:51 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Euronet Worldwide ( EEFT ) said Thursday it has signed an agreement with Swedbank to buy the bank's ATM network and provide ATM outsourcing services in Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia.

Euronet ( EEFT ) will buy Swedbank's in-branch and off-branch ATM assets in the three countries and will ensure their migration to Euronet's ( EEFT ) Ren payments processing platform as well as integration with the bank's systems, Euronet ( EEFT ) said, adding the migration will start in fall of 2025.

Euronet ( EEFT ) will keep Swedbank's ATM branding in the acquired ATM network, it said.
