08:18 AM EST, 11/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission said Tuesday it has notified Apple ( AAPL ) of several potentially banned geo-blocking practices that the Consumer Protection Cooperation Network has identified on certain Apple Media Services.

The network asked Apple ( AAPL ) to align its practices with the European Union's anti-geo-blocking rules, the commission said.

Apple ( AAPL ) did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
