10:11 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission has opened an antitrust investigation into animal health company Zoetis ( ZTS ) .

The commission will investigate whether the company breached EU competition rules by preventing the market launch of a competing novel biologic medicine used to treat dogs with chronic pain.
