10:01 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Euroseas ( ESEA ) said Monday that it has signed a contract for the construction two additional 4,300 twenty-foot equivalent container vessels at Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co. in China for $59.3 million per vessel.

The vessels are scheduled to be delivered in March and May of 2028, the company said, adding that they will be sisterships to two ordered in October 2024.

Euroseas ( ESEA ) said it will finance the new ships with a combination of debt and equity.
