08:42 AM EDT, 03/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EV Nickel ( EVNIF ) reported Thursday the discovery of anomalous gold mineralization associated with the Gemini North nickel zone at its Shaw Dome Project in Ontario.

The company said it intersected higher-grade gold mineralization in 10 out of 27 drill holes, grading greater than 0.10 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over a minimum of 1.5 meters. Highlights include 0.57 g/t gold over 9.0 m in hole EV25-GN20 and 2.03 g/t gold over 1.5 m in hole EV25-GN21.

"The presence of these higher-grade gold intersections, including values exceeding one gram per tonne, identified in our 2025 diamond drill program represents the first time the company has observed this level of gold enrichment on its the Shaw Dome project," Vice President of Exploration Paul Davis said.

EV Nickel ( EVNIF ) said it plans additional work on the newly identified gold zone to define the extent of the gold-bearing system and assess the potential to identify areas of higher-grade gold mineralization.
