07:51 AM EDT, 10/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Evergold ( EVGUF ) said Wednesday that follow-up drilling at the DEM porphyry prospect in British Columbia achieved encouraging new intersections of the DEM sulfide vein system. The company expects to receive assay results in November.

"As a raw new greenfield prospect first drill tested less than 12 months ago, we continue to make significant advances in our understanding of this large system of which we have only tested, with limited budget not adequate to the scale of the opportunity, a very small portion to date," President and CEO Kevin Keough said.

"We look forward to advancing the project further with the pending assays and our next exploratory steps, to include targeting the intrusive centre with its first-ever drilling," Keough said.
