05:24 PM EST, 11/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Everi Holdings ( EVRI ) shareholders approved the acquisition of the company by funds managed by Apollo Global Management ( APO ) .

Almost all shareholders voted in favor of the buyout at $14.25 a share, Everi ( EVRI ) said Thursday in a statement.

The deal involves the simultaneous acquisition of International Game Technology's ( IGT ) gaming and digital business by the Apollo funds.

The transaction is expected to close in Q3.
