08:52 AM EDT, 06/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Evolv Technologies ( EVLV ) said Wednesday that its Evolv ( EVLV ) eXpedite bag screener has received the US Department of Homeland Security's SAFETY Act Designation.

The company said the designation means the bag screener is recognized as Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technologies under the SAFETY Act.

The SAFETY Act is intended to provide incentives for companies that develop and deploy anti-terrorism technologies by providing liability protections for sellers of "qualified anti-terrorism technologies," according to the US Department of Homeland Security.
