10:50 AM EDT, 08/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Evolv Technologies ( EVLV ) said Tuesday it was awarded a patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office for the technology used in its flagship product, Evolv Express.

The Evolv Express weapons detection system is deployed in stadiums, theme parks, schools, hospitals and other public spaces around the world, the company said.

Shares of Evolv Technologies ( EVLV ) were up about 5% in recent trading.
