04:16 AM EDT, 05/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Evotec (EVO) said Thursday it had formed a partnership with the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research, Lille University Hospital, and French biotech firm Inserm Transfert to research the causes and find biological markers for obesity and metabolic diseases.

Lille University Hospital is the main sponsor of the study and maintains a set of databases dedicated to studying obesity. Under the agreement, it will provide biological samples and clinical data which Evotec will use its computing models to study.
