08:47 AM EST, 11/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Exact Sciences ( EXAS ) said Friday the Atlus study showed its Oncoguard Liver blood test detects hepatocellular carcinoma, a liver cancer, earlier than ultrasound in at-risk patients.

The trial reported seven times higher detection at the very early stage and better overall detection than standard care, the company said.

The test met the study's primary endpoint and improved early-stage detection compared with ultrasound, Exact Sciences ( EXAS ) said.

The results will be presented as late-breaking data at the Liver Meeting on Tuesday, and the company plans to submit them for publication, it added.
