Clix Capital founder Pramod Bhasin told CNBCTV18 that the deal with Lakshmi Vilas Bank could take some time to happen. The LVB stock has been under pressure following the ouster of top officials by shareholders, and concerns over whether the deal with Clix Capital will go through.

Bhasin said his firm was checking on the recovery of NPAs at LVB, and there were some other negotiations ongoing as well. He said LVB's loan book has not grown as a result of which non-performing assets as a proportion of loan book has been rising.

Bhasin said there was no deadline for the deal as much but that he was eager for a speedy conclusion to it.
