03:29 AM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Exelon's ( EXC ) ComEd unit said Sunday it has restored power to 80% of customers who lost electricity following two storms that struck northern Illinois over the weekend.

The region was impacted by winds that reached up to 70 miles per hour on Saturday and Sunday.

ComEd said it expects to restore power to nearly all customers by Monday at 2 pm.
